The Gemini app can now generate interactive simulations and models

What changed
Google says the Gemini app now turns text prompts into interactive visualizations and functioning simulations — not just static diagrams. Previously, answers were largely prose with a fixed image attached. Now, Gemini can produce manipulable models: rotate a molecule, tweak variables in a physics system, or watch orbital mechanics respond when you change initial velocity or gravity strength. It’s like a little lab, right inside chat.
How it works (and what you can do)
Users can ask Gemini to “show me” or “help me visualize” a complex concept and receive a dynamic simulation that accepts sliders and numeric inputs. Want to test whether a particular set of values yields a stable moon orbit? Enter them and watch the system update instantly. Think NASA meets Khan Academy — exploratory, immediate, and hands-on.
Availability and caveats
The feature is reportedly rolling out globally to all Gemini app users. To try it, head to gemini.google.com, select the Pro model in the prompt bar, and give it a visualization prompt. Note: it has been reported that the capability is not yet available for Education and Workspace accounts.
This is an education and productivity moment wrapped in shiny tech — empowering for learners, useful for creators, and potentially a tidy shortcut for anyone who learns by doing. Curious to see what happens when you crank gravity up to 2x? Go on. Tinker.
